More Detail:

Xerxes has diverse technical experience. His research at Ohio University funded by National Institute of Health focused on the effect of inhibition of glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK-3) in apoptosis of ovarian cancer cells. He has also investigated the detection and mitigation of microbially influenced corrosion of sulfate reducing bacteria, a joint project between Institute for Corrosion and Multiphase Technology at Ohio University and Total.

Xerxes has also authored many ISI papers in different fields of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. In addition to his research and publications, Xerxes has also been a lecturer in Chemical Engineering at Rubber Industries Engineering & Research Company in Tehran, Iran, focusing on the transport phenomena (heat, mass, and momentum). In addition, Xerxes has experience in oil and gas refining, paint and resin, purification and separation of biomolecules, bioremediation, microbially influenced corrosion and microbial fuel cells. Xerxes is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
