Peter’s practice focuses on preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the mechanical arts.

Prior to joining Servilla Whitney, Peter was a partner in the law firm of Luccarelli & Musacchio LLP, which he founded after leaving an in-house career at Siemens Corporation. At Siemens, Peter was Associate Chief IP Counsel of the patent practice groups serving its Industry, Energy and Transportation businesses. Prior to Siemens, Peter was an associate in New York and Washington D.C. law firms.

Peter received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. While at Columbia he was a coxswain for the varsity heavyweight and lightweight rowing programs and an officer in the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta. After college graduation, he pursued his Juris Doctor degree at Fordham University Law School. While attending law school, he registered to practice as a Patent Agent before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Peter and his wife are proud parents of three sons and so far, grandparents of four grandchildren.
